Terms of Service

The service

DepthFeed provides historical order-book data for prediction markets, delivered over a REST API. Access is tied to a plan and an API key. Don't share your key, exceed your plan's rate limits, or attempt to disrupt the service.

Data & accuracy

We work hard to capture data faithfully and describe our methods honestly, but the data is provided "as is," without warranty of completeness or fitness for a particular purpose. Markets data can have gaps; nothing here is financial advice. You are responsible for your own trading decisions.

Acceptable use

  • Use the data for research, analysis, and your own trading.
  • Do not resell or redistribute bulk datasets without written permission.
  • Do not use the service for anything unlawful.

Billing & subscriptions

Paid plans (Quant, Desk Lite, and Desk) are monthly subscriptions that renew automatically at the start of each billing period until you cancel. The free Explorer tier needs no card. Prices are shown in US dollars and charged in USD.

Payments are processed by Polar, our merchant of record, which handles the charge, applicable taxes, and your receipt. We don't store your card details. You can update your payment method, view invoices, change plans, or cancel at any time from Manage billing in your account.

Cancellation

You can cancel anytime. Cancellation stops future renewals; your plan stays active through the end of the period you've already paid for, after which the account returns to the free tier. We don't prorate or refund partial periods on cancellation (see refunds below).

Refunds

Because this is a data product, an automatic refund of your most recent payment is available only if the plan has not been used — that is, you have made no successful billable API calls on the paid plan since it started. Request it from Manage billing → Request a refund; an eligible refund cancels your access and returns the charge to your original payment method.

Once the plan has been used it is no longer eligible for an automatic refund. To prevent abuse, automatic refunds are limited to two per 90 days, and a 30-day cooldown applies before you can re-subscribe after a refund. Nothing here limits any non-waivable rights you may have under applicable law — if you believe a charge is in error, contact us.

Price & plan changes

We may change plan features or prices; any change to your recurring price takes effect on a future renewal, and we'll give you notice and a chance to cancel beforehand. The Desk (Enterprise) tier includes dedicated provisioning that we set up after purchase.
