Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 2026. This policy explains what DepthFeed collects and why. We keep it minimal on purpose.

What we collect

• Account details you give us — typically an email address — to issue and support your API key.
• API usage metadata— request timestamps, endpoints, response sizes, and your key's hash — used for rate limiting, billing accuracy, and abuse prevention. We store a hash of your key, never the raw key.
• Basic site analytics — aggregate, non-identifying traffic data.

Payments

Paid subscriptions are handled by Polar, our merchant of record. When you check out, Polar collects and processes your payment details under its own privacy policy; we never receive or store your full card number. We keep only what we need to manage your subscription — a Polar customer/subscription reference, the plan, amount, and dates.

What we don't do

We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with third parties except processors strictly needed to run the service (for example, hosting and payments). We do not track you across other sites.

Retention

Usage metadata is retained for up to 180 days for operations and billing, then removed. Account details are kept while your account is active. You can request deletion at any time.
